Mahakulung Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu\u2014Over 250 students from six primary schools in the remote Mahakulung Rural Municipality have received essential educational supplies, thanks to the Nepal English Education Foundation (NEEF). This initiative has provided critical support to students from Mahakulung Basic School, Mamerku Basic School in Chheskam, Patle Basic School, Himchuli Basic School, Khiraule Basic School, and Chomolungma Basic School in Pelmang.<\/p>\n

he beneficiaries, primarily from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including families of Mt. Everest tourism porters, received warm tracksuits, shoes, and other educational materials. These supplies are expected to have a significant impact, particularly for students facing harsh winter conditions and poverty.<\/p>\n

Mr. Dilip Singh Rai, Chairman of the Everest Mera Foundation (EMF), expressed his satisfaction with the initiative\u2019s success. \u201cIt is our pleasure to have helped needy students from such remote areas and economically vulnerable families. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the respected donors and board members in the USA and Canada for their continuous support,\u201d Mr. Rai stated.<\/p>\n

The impact of NEEF\u2019s support is already being felt by the community. \u201cIt is a great help. I am very happy with NEEF\u2019s support. Now, my two children can attend school every day, even in winter,\u201d shared Mrs. Samjhana Rai, a grateful parent.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Laxmi Thulung Rai, Headteacher of Mahakulung Basic School, also acknowledged the positive outcomes of NEEF\u2019s involvement. \u201cSince NEEF began helping, the number of students enrolling has been increasing. I would like to thank all the respected donors and board members from NEEF,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

This initiative reflects NEEF\u2019s ongoing commitment to improving access to education for students in Nepal\u2019s remote regions, offering them hope and opportunity despite challenging circumstances.<\/p>\n
