Manang Motorbike Tour

Daily Itinerary

10 stages

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, where our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu, situated at approximately 1,400 metres. After check-in, relax and recover from your international journey. Later, meet your road captain and support team for an introduction to the adventure, riding procedures, safety guidelines, and preparations. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Nepali cuisine and prepare for tomorrow’s activities.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Motorbike Preparation

After breakfast, explore Kathmandu Valley’s cultural highlights, including Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Discover Nepal’s Buddhist and Hindu heritage before returning to the hotel. In the afternoon, our mechanic and road captain will inspect each motorcycle, checking brakes, tyres, engine oil, chains, suspension, lights, and controls. Complete the final equipment checks, discuss road conditions, and attend a safety briefing before resting for tomorrow’s first riding stage.

Day 3: Ride from Kathmandu to Besisahar

After breakfast, begin your Himalayan motorbike adventure, riding west from Kathmandu through bustling settlements and countryside toward Mugling. Follow scenic highway sections alongside the Trishuli River before turning toward the Marsyangdi Valley. Enjoy terraced farmland, rural villages, river landscapes, and opportunities for refreshments and photography. As the surrounding hills become increasingly dramatic, continue to Besisahar, the traditional gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, and settle into your hotel for dinner and preparation.

Day 4: Ride to chame

Today, follow the Marsyangdi River deeper into the Annapurna mountains. The route becomes narrower and more adventurous, combining paved stretches with rough mountain-road sections. Pass Jagat, Chamje, Tal, Dharapani, Bagarchhap, and the scenic Timang area, enjoying waterfalls, suspension bridges, traditional villages, forests, and dramatic cliffs. As elevation increases, the landscape gradually changes. Arrive in Chame, the administrative centre of Manang District, and relax at your lodge after this rewarding mountain-riding experience.

Day 5: Chame to Manang

Leave Chame after breakfast and continue towards the spectacular high Himalayas. Ride through Bratang and Pisang, surrounded by pine forests, towering cliffs, and impressive Annapurna mountain views. Admire the enormous rock face of Paungda Danda as the terrain becomes drier and more rugged. Depending on accessibility and road conditions, explore the Green Lake area. Continue through the distinctive Trans-Himalayan landscape to Manang, where traditional settlements and snow-covered peaks create unforgettable scenery.

Day 6: Manang Exploration and Ride to Jagat

Spend the morning discovering Manang’s traditional stone houses, local monastery, prayer wheels, mani walls, cafés, and spectacular mountain viewpoints. Depending on fitness, weather, and timing, enjoy a short acclimatisation walk before lunch. Afterwards, begin the descent along the mountain road, retracing the route through Pisang, Chame, Dharapani, and Tal as conditions permit. Experience changing scenery, waterfalls, forests, suspension bridges, and river valleys before reaching Jagat for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Jagat to Pokhara

After breakfast, depart Jagat and follow the Marsyangdi River towards Besisahar. Continue through rural settlements, terraced farmland, green hills, and beautiful river valleys before connecting with the highway towards Pokhara. Enjoy the changing scenery as the rugged, dry landscapes give way to greener foothills and warmer surroundings. Stop along the way for refreshments and photographs. On arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring Lakeside, with its restaurants, cafés, shops, and Phewa Lake views.

Day 8: Full-Day Pokhara Exploration and Adventure

Enjoy a relaxing day exploring Pokhara and its surrounding attractions. Early risers may take an optional morning ride to Sarangkot for sunrise views over the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre. Later, visit Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi Temple, World Peace Pagoda, Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, or the International Mountain Museum. Adventure enthusiasts can choose optional paragliding, ziplining, boating, kayaking, bungee jumping, or ultralight flights. Spend the evening relaxing in Lakeside and sharing riding experiences.

Day 9: Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast, begin the final major riding stage towards Kathmandu. Follow the winding highway through green middle hills, rural settlements, terraced landscapes, and river corridors. Pass the Mugling area and continue alongside the Trishuli River, stopping at suitable viewpoints for refreshments and photographs. Depending on time, enjoy views around Begnas Lake and the Kurintar–Manakamana area. Arrive in Kathmandu by late afternoon or evening, check into your hotel, and celebrate the adventure with your fellow riders.

Day 10: Final Departure from Kathmandu

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and spend any remaining free time relaxing or exploring Kathmandu, depending on your international flight schedule. Our team will coordinate your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport, assisting with departure arrangements and luggage.
