In our working area of Mahakulung, on the southern slopes of Mount Everest, communities are increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, environmental degradation, changing weather patterns, and risks associated with glaciers and glacial lakes. These challenges can directly affect local livelihoods, natural resources, food and water security, and the overall well-being of communities.

We therefore promote climate change education and environmental awareness among children, young people, schools, and local communities. Our work encourages responsible waste management, protection of forests and natural resources, clean and healthy communities, and the conservation of fragile Himalayan ecosystems.

Through awareness, education, and community participation, we aim to help build a more environmentally responsible and resilient future for the people and natural environment of the region.
